WHAT IS A ZINE?
There are many wide-spanning definitions for what a zine is but I'll do my best to describe in what I consider to be the purest and most basic description: A zine is an indie print and/ or digital publication that is similar to a magazine, often smaller, that is usually done by a single creator or a small group of collaborators. Zines tend to be labors of love and often are a very personal form of artistic expression, done in the DIY spirit, and often with a punk rock attitude and flair.
Each issue of The Broken Controller will be a staple-bound, full color print product (also available with a digital PDF version). The zine will measure 8.5"x5.5" and will be printed on high quality 80 lbs paper stock.
